Flying to the lap of the mountains means a huge difference in altitude, climate and temperature from wherever you currently are. In addition to layering your clothes properly, we also recommend wearing proper UV protection as the sunlight can be quite strong at high altitude. In addition, we recommend carrying:

You will be picked up from your hotel and transferred to Kathmandu Airport for the Annapurna Base Camp Helicopter Tour. Once everything is ready, we will take off for Pokhara. Enjoy your first aerial views of the Nepalese landscape. If you’re starting the tour from Pokhara, you will have to wait for us at the Pokhara airport instead. After a stop at Pokhara airport for refueling, we will resume our journey to the Annapurna Base Camp.

Located just 30km or so away from Pokhara, we will reach the Annapurna Base Camp in no time. Once we land there, you’ll have around 15 minutes of ground time to take in the grandeur of the scenery around you, click some pictures and maybe have some tea/coffee. We will have to leave soon as staying at such high altitudes for a long time can be dangerous due to the threat of altitude sickness.

On the return journey, you will once again be able to enjoy spectacular aerial views of the Annapurnas (8,091m), Dhaulagiri (8,167m), Nilgiri (7,061m), Hiunchuli (6,441m), Machhapuchhare (6,993m), Gangapurna (7,455m) and more. The tour can be ended either in Pokhara or Kathmandu, and the whole journey will be completed in 2-3 hours depending on start and end points.
