Mount Kailash (Hindi: Kailash Parbat) is a 6,638m (21,778ft) high peak habitat in Kailash range (Gangdisê Mountains) in the remote corner of  marvelous west of Tibet . Which creates part of Trans Himalaya in the Tibet Region of Nepal. The mountain is situated near Lake Manasarovar and Lake Rakshaktal which are the source of longest Asian river. The angelic beauty of Mt. Kailash is not only compelling, it is also the ultimate pilgrimage destination for Hindu, Buddhist, Jain and Bon religions from around the world. Mount Kailas is the sacred epicenter. Every year, thousands of disciple make the pilgrimage to the holy Mt. Kailas for spiritual purification.

Hindus pay devotion to Mount Kailash as a throne of Lord Shiva, the great Tirtha and the ultimate pilgrimage site on earth. It is treated as most auspicious to make a religious pilgrimage around its fifty-three kilometers circuit which is also known as Kailash Parikrama. Talking about the fact the entire region of Mt. Kailash has religious significance. Every substance in this area is sacred and related to many of the legends and mythical stories from ancient scriptures and lingual traditions.

For the trip you need to allocate significant time and resources for the journey to what Tibetans call Kang Rinpoche — practically meaning Precious Jewel of Snows. Since no traveler is allowed to travel independently, You must work with a Tibetan-owned travel agency, Which hires only Tibetan guides.

Arrival in Tribhuvan Airport at Kathmandu, welcome by our tour representative and transfer to hotel. Check into room and refresh. Dinner & Overnight at hotel.

After breakfast drive to Dhunche or Shyabru Besi in your bus. The drive to Dhunche or Shyabru Besi is not long in distance but the road and traffic conditions can make it tiring and time taking. Upon reaching Dhunche or Shyabru Besi stay in a lodge/guesthouse. Dinner and stay at the guesthouse.

After breakfast drive to the Nepalese border Rasuwagadi which is about 15 kms from Shyabru Besi. After immigration formalities the group will cross the border on foot to reach China side. The pilgrims are then transferred on their Chinese bus for onward drive to Koyirong. We travel in sturdy and comfortable vehicles that are controlled and guided by Tibetans. The accompanying Nepalese Sherpas get into the coaches after loading the food materials water etc and the onward journey into the Tibetan/Chinese region continues toward the town of Koyirong (also spelled as Keyrung sometimes). On arrival, check into room and take rest for today. Overnight stay will be in a guesthouse at Keyrung in dormitory style.

This day is reserved for rest for acclimatization in Tibet’s tough climate. Our tour manager will assist you for a short hike in and around Keyrong for warming up your body to adjust with Tibet’s high altitude. Also, you can enjoy the day with chanting Bhajan or Katha in the guesthouse.

After on enjoyable drive through the mountains terrain and then the plains provides us a marvelous view of huge and bhuish lake Pieko-Tso. The yearlong Tsangpo (Brahmaputra River) is crossed over on, past the turn off for the northern route, and arrive at settlement of Saga (4840m). The landscape gradually changes to the high plains of Tibet, soft beautiful and photogenic. Stay overnight at guesthouse/lodge in dormitory style.

We have very important day today as we are heading to the holiest place at Lake Manasarovar. As per above time schedule, our day begins with breakfast at 0730 AM. On the way before Mayumla Pass (4900 m), we take break for permit formalities and for lunch then continue the journey crossing Mayumla pass and Paryang Country. You will have very good opportunity to see first glimpse of Mt. Kailash from the shore of Lake Manasarovar. There will be few minutes’ halt before heading to our camp / guesthouse at Lake Manasarovar for the permit formalities, that period you can use with praying and exploring the beauty of Mt. Kailash. After immigration complete, we will drive further to our guesthouse at Chiu Gompa (Depending on permission of the local authorities we may have to change our vehicle here and travel in local buses operated by the authority near Mansarovar and Kailash region). Today, you will complete Lake Manasarovar parikrama or next Morning. You will have very significant moment in Lake Manasarovar with almighty bless and even graceful evening with the breathtaking view of holiest Lake Manasarovar and Mt. Kailash. Besides this, you can also see or visit Chiu Gompa Monastery situated in hillock near Guesthouse. Stay in guesthouse in dormitory style.

Today Morning – Take holy Dip and perform Puja (prayer ritual) at Mansarovar Lake Later by Evening Drive to Darchen (2 hrs)

After breakfast drive towards Yama Dwate via Darchen. Yamadwar (Tarboche) which is the starting point of Kailash Parikrama. Tarboche is also well known as an outer “Asthapath”. It is one of the exciting days walking along the beautiful rocky cliffs; waterfalls with some clouds in the clear blue sky make you feel that Great God Shiva is everywhere with tons of blessing to you. We see Ganesh Parvat on its' side. Time to time the north face of Kailash Parvat will be kept on appearing. Overnight at Guest house

Today is the most challenging day in our Yatra. After breakfast, Trek from Dirapuk to Dolma La Pass (8 km). About 3 kms before reaching Dolma La Pass is steep hill and quite difficult to walk. Also descending from Dolma La Pass is the same for upto 3 km. While descending you can see Gaurikund on the right. After walking for about 2 – 3 hrs we will reach Phedi. After some rest we will start trek to Zuthulpuk (12 km trek for 6 hours). Overnight at Guest house.

This is our last trek day and we have to make short trek about 4-5 hours so we wake up in normal time and begin trekking to descend Darchen town. Our transport will pick up us from the mid way to Darchen, up to where the road is accessible and drive to guesthouse at Darchen where our other groups staying and then take lunch there. Then after, we straight forwards continue our drive to New Dongba Stay in a Hotel.

After breakfast we begin our journey towards Koyirong. On the way we pass through the town of Saga, we cross the bridge over beautiful Brahmaputra River and continue our journey across the vast open Tibetan plains. The journey offers stunning Himalayan views, particularly of Shishapangma and the Pieko-Tso Lake. Driving on well-pitched roads and mountainous terrain we reach Kerung for an overnight. Stay in a guesthouse in dormitory style.

After breakfast drive from Koyirong towards we walk to the Nepalese immigration control in Rasuwagadi, complete the re-entry formalities and get transferred to our hotel in Kathmandu. This should take about 6- 7 hours by bus. Dinner and night stay will be in the Hotel
